Silverbrooke
Silverbrooke is a mixed density subdivision in challenging terrain in the Porirua suburb of Whitby. BOSCO has teamed with Action to deliver the works for the client Serendipity Holdings.

The Stage 1 civils package followed on from the successful completion of the earthworks programme by BOSCO.

The site contains variable material profiles and the works are being completed alongside the ongoing earthworks programme.

Despite various issues through consenting and design the project is currently on schedule and on budget.

Project scope
​
The scope of the project included:

Stormwater and Sanitary Sewer works including complex outlet structures.

Combined services including pressure water main and medium and high density servicing.

Asphalt and concrete roading works.
Brookside
Brookside is a medium density subdivision in a former golf-course in Whitby. BOSCO
worked closely with Orogen to deliver the works for our client Classic Developments.

The stage 3 and four earthworks for the required a stream diversion as well as works around and up
to a new bridge. -
The low-lying nature of the site presented some challenges in materials as well as weather.

BOSCO worked with orogen and the client to maximise productivity during delay periods brought on
by external material supply and weather.

Project scope

The scope of the project included:

Site clearance.

Erosion and sediment control.

Bulk earthworks including cut and import to fill.

Diversion of a live stream.
-
Platform preparation for housing.
-
Temporary works for access.

Together with Orogen and Classic BOSCO
was able to deliver significant costs savings
for the customer.
